A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed here Tuesday by Czech and Chinese officials to boost bilateral cooperation in the sphere of general aviation.
According to the document signed by Advisor of the President of the Czech Republic Jan Kohout and a senior official from Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province, the touchpoints and common interests were found in the aircraft manufacturing, light aircraft trade, construction of the general aviation airports, development of air traffic systems, flying security management, and flight personnel training programs.
Representatives of Czech and Chinese aviation enterprises, including Chengdu International Railways Co. Ltd, Czech Metrans Inc., among others, have signed a Protocol of Intentions lining up the above prospects.
The event was hosted by New Silk RoadInstitute Prague (NSRIP) and Chengdu Municipal People's Government in cooperation with the Sino-Czech Aviation Association. In May 2017 Prague became a new member of the Silk Road Think Tank Network held in Beijing.
