
BEIJING, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang will make a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the Euro-Asia Economic Forum (EAEF) next Thursday in Xi'an, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying announced Friday.
Hua made the announcement at a daily press briefing, saying that the EAEF conference is constituted mainly by countries from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The EAEF is held every two years and this year's forum is to be held from Sept. 21 to 23 in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province.
