Shanghai Disney Resort has announced E-Fastpasses will be made available at Shanghai Disneyland before the end of the year. Visitors will be able to reserve their Fastpass via an app and scan their phones to enter the park, without having to pick up a physical ticket at specific locations. [File Photo: VCG]
It's reported that tourists will incur no extra cost by using the system, and Fastpass physical tickets will remain available for all tourists.
Disney Premier Access will also be made available for online purchase.
The existing version of Shanghai Disney Resort's official app allows visitors to "buy theme park tickets, see estimated waiting times for attractions and entertainment, view entertainment schedules, and browse interactive maps."
The Disney Fastpass and Disney Premier Access tickets let holders enjoy priority entry to certain attractions. Both are non-transferable and valid only on the day of issue.
Attractions offering Disney Fastpass and Disney Premier Access at Shanghai Disneyland include:
Soaring Over the Horizon – Adventure Isle
Roaring Rapids – Adventure Isle
TRON Lightcycle Power Run – Tomorrowland
Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue – Tomorrowland
