BEIJING, Aug. 28 -- "Major-Country Diplomacy," a six-episode political documentary series, will hit Chinese screens starting Monday.
The series, jointly produced by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Xinhua News Agency and China Central Television (CCTV), can be watched on CCTV, as well as on new media platforms.
China has made active efforts and broken new ground in diplomacy under the central leadership with a series of new thoughts, ideas and strategies, according to the producers.
The documentary includes an extensive range of interviews and stories, which show the country's diplomatic efforts to help realize the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation and build a community of shared future for mankind.
The documentary also demonstrates that China will play a more active role in contributing to world peace and stability as well as prosperity and progress of mankind.
