Chinese President Xi Jinping is heading to Russia for a two-day official visit from July 3 to 4, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Xi will meet his Russian counterpart for the third time this year and the two leaders are expected to hold in-depth discussions covering a wide range of topics of common interests.
The two sides are also expected to sign more than 10 cooperation documents.

After Russia, Xi will head to Germany for a state visit from July 4 to 6 at the invitation of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Angela Merkel. Xi will also attend the 12th G20 Summit in Hamburg from July 7 to 8.
His entourage includes his wife Peng Liyuan as well as other high-ranking officials and business leaders.
