Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli says policy coordination, facility connectivity, unimpeded trade, financial integration and people-to-people bonds are the key to implementing the Belt and Road Initiative which could lead the efforts to seek common ground, lift cooperation level and create new cooperation platforms and as well as benefiting the countries involved and their peoples. Zhang Gaoli suggests efforts should be made to enhance policy coordination, solidify the political foundation for the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative, deepen political mutual trust, strengthen high-level exchanges, better integrate development strategies under the principle of complementing each other's advantages, equal participation and common development, as well as chart out a road-map and timetable for cooperation.
