MINSK, March 22 -- China will provide technical and economic assistance in the development of social infrastructure in the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone, said a senior manager from the state-owned China Merchants Group Tuesday.

The projects were discussed at the meeting between Belarus' Vice Premier Anatoly Kalinin and Hu Zheng, the general representative of China Merchants Group in Central Asia and the Baltic Region.

Hu said the Chinese government will provide financial assistance for the construction of a clinic, a dwelling for 144 apartments, an innovation commercialization center and public transport facilities, and the construction of the facilities is scheduled to start in June 2017.

The two sides also confirmed mutual interest in setting up a jointly-designed institute to develop project documents for the residents of the park.

On his part, Kalinin said the park offers all necessary infrastructure for any investors to come.
