We all know that Pandas and bamboo go hand in hand. The cute fuzzy creatures are never far from their favorite food, it seems.
But one wild giant panda in Sichuan Province has been spotted exploring new tastes.
A villager in Leshan, Sichuan Province discovered the panda foraging away from its mountainous habitat area, and tucking into goat!

After the meal the panda lingered for a while and then returned to its home.
Even though bamboo is the principal food for giant pandas, they do occasionally eat other animals.

This was the second panda to have visited the Leshan area in the last two months. On the last occasion, a less brave animal ran away after seeing people.
There are approximately 1,800 giant pandas in the wilder areas of southwest China, and their habitats have consistently been expanding over the years according to the latest survey.
