A large number of ancient coins were recently found near a construction site in Changde, central China's Hunan province. Coins of different sizes were circulated in different eras.

Dozens of local villagers gathered at the site to dig. After such a large-scale discovery, some of the villagers are beginning to sell the coins for profit.
