Meteorological observers work at "North Pole Village" in NE China (7)

BEIJICUN, Feb. 1, 2016 -- Meteorological observer Guo Dayong walks out of the office building to check facilities in the town of Beijicun, or "North Pole Village", in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, Jan. 31, 2016. Beijicun, a small town in China's northernmost county of Mohe, is one of the coldest places in the country. The lowest temperature ever recorded here was minus 52.3 degrees Celsius. Only four people work at the Beijicun National Meteorological Observation Station now. (Xinhua/Wang Kai)
