Recently a 65-year-old sanitation worker who fainted in the street was saved by the warm-hearted citizens in Fuzhou city, capital of southeast China's Fujian province.
At 6:30 p.m., Dec. 16. 2015, a sanitation worker was spotted lying on the ground with a besom under his head. Many citizens gathered around him and tried to wake up him. Some of them quickly called the emergency medical center seeing this old man had no response.
"Let him lie on the ground. He will get hurt if you touch and move him," a citizen stopped the other ones who tried to lift the old man up.
An ambulance and policemen arrived at the site in 10 minutes. After measuring the blood pressure and giving some emergency treatments, the doctors sent the old man to hospital.
According to several colleagues of this man who came to the place, the man, who cleans the streets in Gulou District, came from a poor family in Luoyuan county, Fuzhou city. Several years ago, his son died of disease which made his life harder than before.
"We never thought that he would faint here. We can't contact with his daughter now. But the hospital promised us to treat him," said his colleagues.
