Song Qixuan, a 25-year-old post-graduate student in central China, proposed to his girlfriend, Lu Yan, 23, with two “luxury” planes on Aug. 22, 2015.
Lu once said, “I wish we could fly wings by wings”. The words are used to describe affectionate couples in Chinese. Song took it to heart and managed a free proposal in the air.
Song sent a mail to the organizing committee of an Aviation Tourism Festival and explained his idea, and the committee provided two light airplanes to help them realize their dreams.
Under the friends’ witness, the couple boarded two Arora SA60L airplanes and enjoyed a period of flight in the air. After that, Song presented a bunch of flowers and proposed to Lu, who had the happiest smile on her face.
