Wan Yan’gang and Chen Xueting, a couple in their 30s, abandoned high-income jobs and comfortable life and returned to their hometown to become tailors.
The couple has shown interests in fashion design since childhood. In March 2012, they quit their jobs in the city and opened a garment factory in Ruichang, Jiangxi, which specializes in making long gowns, cheongsams and shirts with Chinese characteristics.
It’s not easy to start a business. At the beginning almost all the works were done by themselves. When they were tired of the work, they may relieve themselves by singing songs and playing piano.
Wan Yan’gang says it is worth toil and tears as long as they have a yearning business. Their products have not only been well-received by the domestic clients, but also gained favor of foreign clients. The products are now sold in southeastern countries, Africa, Australia and other regions.
