The mating ceremony of the world's largest ultra-deepwater semisubmersible drilling rig, built by CIMC Raffles for Norway's Frigstad, was held in Yantai production base on June 25, 2015.

The rig has adopted the basic design of Frigstad D90. CIMC Raffles completed the detailed design and production design. With a maximum operating water depth of 3,658 meters and a maximum drilling depth of 15,240 meters, it is the semisubmersible drilling rig that can work at the deepest operating water depth and drilling depth in the world.
