China's Border Autonomous Region Reports Foreign Trade Increase
Export and import volume in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region reached over 2 billion US dollars last year, 16.2 percent more than the previous year.
According to latest statistics, 1.2 billion US dollars, or 84.3 percent of the region's total export volume, was made last year by the manufacturing sector, up 20 percent from the previous year.
Major export markets of the region include Hong Kong, Japan, southeast Asia, Europe and the United States.
