Science Park of Harbin Institute of Technology Inaugurated
The Science Park of Harbin Institute of Technology, one of the first 15 state-level university technology parks, was set up on November 26.
With a goal to build the park into a renowned one in the world, the park has laid its stress on establishing it into one that will integrate technological renovation, high-tech industrialization and an enterprise of a modern corporate culture in a harmonious way. The park is striving to become a "North China Silicon Valley".
Consisting of parks for enterprising careers, software, automation, and national defense, a total of eight sections as its main functioning area, it is going to build itself into a park for high-tech renovation, an incubator for high-tech enterprises, and a base for cultivating high-tech talents as well. So far, 32 high-tech companies and 50 incubating projects have embarked in the park.
