Chinese, Mauritanian Cities Forge Friendship Ties
Lanzhou, capital city of Northwest China's Gansu Province, and Nouakchott city of Mauritania established friendship ties Monday.
A signing ceremony was held for an agreement on the official establishment of the ties.
President Qi Huaiyuan and Vice-President Su Guang of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Mayor of Lanzhou Zhang Yushun, and Mayor of Nouakchott Hashi Ould Didi attended the ceremony.
