Financial Companies Allowed to Enter Inter-Bank Market

To broaden the financing channel of the financial companies of enterprise groups, the People's Bank of China recently promulgated the management regulations on financial companies' access to national inter-bank market and bond market, allowing financial companies to apply for entering the inter-bank market and bond market as legal person units.

Bur the regulations ban the branches of financial companies from trading on these markets.

Thus, except the trust companies, the members of inter-bank bond market has covered all China's financial system, including state-owned commercial banks, stock joint commercial banks, insurance companies, foreign-funded banks allowed to deal in Renminbi business, rural credit cooperatives, securities firms, fund management companies and financial companies.
