China Cultural Exhibition Opens In Malaysia

A month-long China Cultural Exhibition opened Wednesday in Kuala Lumpur to promote cultural exchanges between China and Malaysia.

Exhibits include replicas of historical relics, bronze vessels, pottery and clay, traditional costumes of the minority tribes in China and handicrafts.

Launching the exhibition organized by the Chinese Embassy in Kuala Lumpur in cooperation with Cheras LeisureMall, Malaysian Deputy Culture, Arts and Tourism Minister Ng Yen Yen said the exhibition of historical Chinese culture "reminds us of the different stages of civilizations in China and also reminds us of how Chinese culture evolved with these civilization."

She said China and Malaysia are friendly neighbors and have enjoyed long time people-to-people cultural exchanges that are being steadily expanded with the development of the state relations.

She praised the exhibition as an educational, valuable source of information of the past.
