Albright Concludes Visit to China
US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright concluded her two-day visit to China and left Beijing Friday noon.
Albright arrived here early Thursday morning. Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan held talks with her, and Chinese President Jiang Zemin, Premier Zhu Rongji and Vice-Premier Qian Qichen all met her on separate occasions.
During the talks and meetings, the two sides exchanged views on a wide range of issues including bilateral relations between China and the United States, the Taiwan issue, the permanent normal trade relations status and other regional, international issues of common concern.
