A symposium on implementing a law to curb juvenile delinquency opened Sunday morning at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

The three-day symposium, first of its kind sponsored by the Internal and Judicial Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), is scheduled to focus on such topics as increasing legal education among primary and middle school students, providing a more healthier surrounding environment near schools, and improving the management of electronic games centers.
