Chinese Vice-Premier Li Lanqing April 24 met with a Vietnamese education delegation headed by Nguyen Minh Hien, minister of education and training.
China and Vietnam enjoy traditional friendship, and their cooperation in various aspects has been expanding, Li said, noting that bilateral cooperation in the area of education has bright prospects.
Li offered his congratulations on the signing of a cooperative agreement between China's Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, saying he believed the agreement would help ensure the steady growth of cooperative ties.
