Chinese Legislature Mulls Report on WTO Entry

The Standing Committee of the Ninth National People's Congress (NPC) has started Tuesday to mull the process of the state's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO).

At the 15th bimonthly meeting of the Ninth NPC Standing Committee which opened this morning, the Chinese lawmakers will hear and deliberate the report delivered by the State Council on the process of China's WTO entry.

During the meeting which is scheduled to last four and a half days, the legislators will also deliberate five draft laws.
