Chinese foreign minister meets DPRK diplomat

BEIJING, June 21 (Xinhua) -- Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Friday met with Kim Kye Gwan, first vice foreign minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Wang and Kim conducted in-depth exchanges regarding both the current situation on the peninsula and the resumption of the six-party talks, according to the press release.

Both sides agreed the dialogue between the two foreign ministries was beneficial and constructive, according to a Foreign Ministry press release.
