Senior Chinese legislator meets U.S. guests

BEIJING, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Wang Chen, Vice chairman and secretary-general of the standing Committee of the National People' s Congress (NPC), Wednesday met here with a delegation of United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.

The delegation was headed by a ranking member of the committee, Bob Corker, who kicked off his visit to China on Tuesday at the invitation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of NPC.
