BEIJING, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- China opposes all forms of terrorism and strongly condemns recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan, a spokesman for China's Foreign Ministry said on Friday.

"We express our deep condolences to the victims and sincere sympathies to the wounded and the family members of the dead," spokesman Hong Lei told a daily press briefing.

China firmly supports the relentless efforts of the government and the people of Pakistan to safeguard the country's stability, Hong said.

Four blasts rocked Pakistan on Thursday, leaving at least 116 people dead and 235 others injured.
