LANZHOU, April 24 (Xinhua) -- A blast at a coal mine on Tuesday evening has left two miners dead in northwest China's Gansu Province.
The accident occurred around 7 p.m. in the return airway of the Haishiwan coal mine owned by Yaojie Coal Electricity Group, leaving one worker dead at the site. Another worker died on Wednesday morning in the hospital.
An initial probe has found that a blown-out shot was to blame for the accident.
