High speed goes high altitude

A train passes the construction site of a high-speed railway line linking Lanzhou city and Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region in Zhangye city in Northwest Gansu province, on Nov 18, 2012. The high-speed line will be 1,776 kilometers long crossing the Northwest China's Gansu, Qinghai and Xinjiang and the country's first the high-speed railway in a high altitude areas.
