Chen Yong meets with delegation from Vietnamese National Defense College

Beijing, June 19 (ChinaMil) -- Chen Yong, assistant to chief of general staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), met with a delegation of cadets from the strategy and operation class of the Vietnamese National Defense College (VNDC) led by Nguyen Duc Hai, vice president of the VNDC, on the afternoon of June 18, 2013 in Beijing.

Chen Yong expressed that it is of great significance to maintain a healthy and steady development of the relations between China and Vietnam and the two militaries. He hoped that the cadets of the strategy and operation class of the VNDC would serve as competent constructors of the socialist cause and successors of China-Vietnam friendship.

Nguyen Duc Hai expressed that the VNDC hopes to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese side, so as to make positive contributions to promoting the development of the relations between the two countries and the two militaries.
