BEIJING, July 31 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed seven new ambassadors to foreign countries, according to a statement issued by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) on Wednesday.
Xi made the appointments in line with decisions made by the Standing Committee of the NPC, China's top legislature.
Sun Shuzhong was appointed ambassador to Morocco, replacing Xu Jinghu.
Wang Hua was appointed ambassador to Guinea-Bissau, replacing Li Baojun.
Bu Jianguo was appointed ambassador to Cambodia, replacing Pan Guangxue.
Ma Qiang was appointed ambassador to South Sudan, replacing Li Zhiguo.
Li Zhiguo was appointed ambassador to Libya, replacing Wang Wangsheng.
Yang Min was appointed ambassador to Madagascar, replacing Shen Yongxiang.
Shen Yongxiang was appointed ambassador to Rwanda, replacing Shu Zhan.
