Lu Xinshe re-elected Jiangxi province governor

NANCHANG, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- Lu Xinshe was re-elected governor of east China's Jiangxi Province on Monday during the first session of the 12th provincial People's Congress.

Lu, born in 1956, had been vice minister of land and resources since 1999. He was appointed deputy secretary of the provincial committee of the Communist Party of China in northwestern Gansu Province in 2010.

He was first elected governor of Jiangxi at the local parliamentary session in February 2012.

He had also acted as director of the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping between 2005 and 2008.

Su Rong was elected chairman of the Standing Committee of Jiangxi Provincial People's Congress on Monday.
