The peace dove and olive branches are a token of peace. They imply that China's fundamental goal of strengthening the national defense mobilization is to maintain national peace and tranquility.
The upper and lower sides of the logo read "国防动员" ("national defense mobilization" in Chinese ) and "NATIONAL DEFENSE MOBILIZATION" respectively.
The main purpose of making the logo of national defense mobilization is to raise public awareness of caring for, supporting and participating in national defense mobilization.
Meanwhile, the National Defense Mobilization Committee issued a document entitled the Measures for the Use and Administration of the Logo of National Defense Mobilization, which stipulates that the logo of national defense mobilization is mainly used for such activities as defense mobilization meeting, publicity and education, training and drill, as well as at work places and on articles intended for official use, facilities and equipment of the National Defense Mobilization Committee and its administrative offices.
