Yang Liping: rebirth like a phoenix

Yang Liping is a legendary Chinese dancer. Growing up in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, she was recruited into the Xishuangbanna song-and-dance troupe by virtue of her talent for dancing in 1971. It is beyond imagination that her art life can last for 40 years in dancing circle, which is deeply partial to youngsters. Even more surprisingly, she has danced Yunnan folk dances all over China, even in the world.
