Chinese stocks open lower Thursday

BEIJING, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks opened lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.03 percent to 2,320.26.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 9,540.63, down 0.08 percent from the previous close.
