Indonesia offers land to S. Korea for gas canister

JAKARTA, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- NK Co. Ltd., a gas canister producer from South Korea, will build a factory worth 40 million U. S. dollars in free trade zone Batam, Indonesia, official said here Tuesday.

Sub Director of Public Relations and Publications Board Concession Batam (BP Batam) Eka Ilham Hartawan explained, NK Co. Ltd. already collect some information related to the investment terms and conditions, include tax incentives.

"Yesterday (Monday), the investors explored Batam to view and determine plant area. The investment value reach 30-40 million U.S dollars, and it will produce gas canisters," said Eka was quoted by Bisnis.com as saying. Bisnis.com is one of the biggest Indonesian economic media.

He said BP Batam is offering a location for the factory to South Korean investor. "We've offered a location in the industrial area," he said.

NK Co. Ltd. is an manufacturing company to produce gas canisters with green technology. The company is also engaged in supplying and exporting gas canisters to Middle East and Malaysia.
