Hainan Airlines to launch Beijing-Luanda route

BEIJING, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Hainan Airlines, China's fourth-largest airline, will launch a route from Beijing to Luanda, capital of Angola, on Dec. 3, the company said Tuesday.

The route will have a layover at Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, giving passengers more options in terms of connecting flights, according to a news release from the company.

The flights from Beijing to Luanda will take off on Monday and Friday each week, and those from Luanda to Beijing will take off every Tuesday and Saturday, the company said.

Founded in 1993, Hainan Airlines operates nearly 500 routes to more than 90 destinations around the globe.
