Beijing, July 8 (Xinhua) -- A 7.2-magnitude earthquake jolted New Ireland region, Papua New Guinea at 2:35 a.m. on Monday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 380 km, was monitored at 3.9 degrees south latitude and 153.9 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
