CAIRO, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Egypt's military forces arrested Thursday the Muslim Brotherhood's (MB) top leader Mohamed Badie, one day after ousting the MB-affiliated President Mohamed Morsi, security source told Xinhua.
Egyptian acting prosecutor general, Ahmed Ezz el-Din, ordered earlier Thursday an arrest warrant for the MB's general guide over charges of inciting the killing of anti-Morsi protesters.
The warrant also includes Badei's deputy, Kirate El-Shater.
Investigations have revealed that they hired thugs to kill opponents of the ousted president Mohamed Morsi outside the MB's headquarters in Cairo's Muqattam district, a prosecution report said.
Egyptian security forces Wednesday arrested Mohamed Saad al- katatni, the leader of the MB's Freedom and Justice Party, and Rashad al-Bayoumi, deputy general guide of the group.
