PYONGYONG, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) said Thursday it plans a new nuclear test and more rocket launches aimed at its "sworn enemy" of the United States.

In a statement carried by the KCNA news agency, the National Defense Commission also criticized the resolution adopted Tuesday by the UN Security Council to condemn the country's recent satellite launch.
