JAKARTA, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Landslides hit Bogor district of West Java on Tuesday morning, killing two people and leaving three others missing, an official said here.
Heavy downpours had the lands at higher grounds fallen and buried five houses at Cipyung village, said Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, spokesman of the disaster management and mitigation agency.
"Five people were burried, two of them were found dead and three others remained under the debris," he told Xinhua by phone.
Indonesia has frequently hit by landslide and floods during rainy season.
