KIEV, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine will form a new government by the end of the current year, acting Deputy Prime Minister Sergiy Tigipko said Monday.
"I believe that we need to enter into a new year with a new Cabinet," Tigipko told a press conference here.
Earlier on Monday, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and all cabinet ministers.
Azarov and a number of cabinet members who stepped down will take legislative seats in the new parliament following parliamentary elections on Oct. 28.
The ministers will continue to fulfill their duties until a new government is formed.
The newly-elected Ukrainian lawmakers will start their first session on Dec. 12.
