MOSCOW, Nov.25 (Xinhua) -- An underground methane explosion injured seven coal miners in Russia's Siberia early Sunday, regional emergency authorities said.
The blast at the Gramoteinskaya mine, took place at 0056 GMT in Belovo of Kemerovo Region. Three miners were slightly injured and four others got moderate burns, local office of Emergency Situations Ministry said.
The injured were sent to a miners' healthcare center in the city of Leninsk-Kuznetsky while rescuers were still working on site for security checks. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
