On the morning of March 28, Chairman Lv Yongjie and Vice President Ge Junjie met with the visiting delegation led by Mr. Caio Koch-Weser, Global Vice Chairman of Deutsche Bank, at the headquarters of Bright Food Group.

Mr. Lv first extended warm welcome to the visiting guests before introducing to them the business features, global strategic goals and paths of Bright Food Group. Also, he shared with the guests his views on a number of topics of interest, including how to deepen the reform of Bright Food Group, how to make use of the capital market, and how to increase the securitization rate of the Group’s assets.

Mr. Caio Koch-Weser expressed his sincere appreciation to Mr. Lv for sparing his valuable time for a meeting, considering his busy schedule. Mr. Caio Koch-Weser also shared his opinions on the global economic landscape and the trends in the global food industry with the hosting party. He gave great recognition to Bright Food Group’s globalization strategies and principles. As the biggest bank in Germany and one of the major financial institutions in the world, he noted, Deutsche Bank had accumulated rich experience in capital market operation while dedicating itself to providing well-tailored banking service packages and solutions to customers. Deutsche Bank, as revealed by Mr. Caio Koch-Weser, was proud of having helped Manassen Foods, an Australian subsidiary of the Bright Food Group, to go public.

Mr. Lv noted that in addition to gaining the wide recognition and support from all walks of life, to cooperate with excellent global partners was also indispensable for Bright Food Group’s efforts to go global. With further mutual communication, the cooperation between the two sides, Mr. Lv believed, would extend to an even wider scope. He wished Deutsche Bank could offer valuable suggestions on how Bright Food Group should make the best of overseas capital markets to implement its globalization strategy.

In a highly candid and friendly atmosphere, both parties further explored some of the hot topics raised at the 3rd Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, like reforms in the management of state-owned assets and enterprises, and how to development of diversified-ownership economy.
