Chairman Wang Zongnan talks with RRJ Capital Chairman Richard Ong

On the afternoon of January 14, Mr. Wang Zongnan, Party chief and chairman of board of directors of Bright Food, met at the Group headquarters a delegation led by Mr. Richard Ong, chairman of board of directors of Singapore-based RRJ Capital. RRJ Capital is a fund company mainly investing in consumer goods, especially food, which now focuses on the Asian market.

Mr. Wang briefed the guests on the development of the Group in recent years. He said the Group has seen an increase in sales from 40 billion yuan in 2006, when the Group was established, to 90 billion yuan in 2012, when it completed a three-year strategic plan. The Group has also begun to shift from single element to a full industrial chain. While taking part in mergers and acquisitions at home, it also picked up pace in global distribution of resources and network, and has established four overseas projects in the past three years. He expressed wish to cooperate with financial investors like RRJ Capital in future in search of mutual development.

Mr. Richard Ong expressed appreciation of accomplishments of Bright Food in the past years, saying he hopes RRJ Capital would one day become a partner of the Group in the field of investment.

Mr. Wang was accompanied by CFO Cao Xiaofeng, finance general manager Li Lin and responsible persons for investment.
