Born in 1960s, Yan Rong was crippled by an illness in his early years. He learned how to make clothes and was recruited by a State owned enterprise.

In the 1990s, Yan went through a period of unemployment but eventually got work with various foreign and private companies where he learned about managing and marketing.

Wu decided to start his own business. Now 80 percent of the staff members in Wu's garment company are people with disabilities.
