China Red Cross sent an organ donation coordinator on Wednesday to inform donor's parents of the required procedures.

At present, her liver, kidneys and corneas have been distributed to four patients. Her body will be donated to Kunming Medial University for medical research use.

Statistics from the Ministry of Health show that about 1.5 million people in China need organ transplants, although only some 10,000 transplants are performed annually.
