Unit 4: Symbiosis

Influenced by the avant-garde contemporary art and international art, exhibitions of 798 Art District gradually became diversified. Except for contemporary art, retrospective exhibitions of some masters, academic exhibitions, sculpture and painting exhibitions of traditional schools, historical photograph exhibitions as well as art design exhibitions composed a diverse picture of exhibition together. For example, "Zhang Guangyu's Art Retrospective Exhibition" held by Bai Ya Xuan Art Centre in 2012, "Weng Naiqiang, Replay: Images from the Cultural Revolution" held by 798 Photo Gallery in 2006 and others.
