Shennongjia Ski Resort in Hubei
Located in Shennongjia National Forest Park, Hubei Province, Shennongjia Ski Resort is the largest ski resort in southern China. Opened in 2004, the winter destination offers its visitors skiing and other outdoor adventures.
Located at a height of 2,200 meters, the resort can boast trails ranging from beginner- to medium-levels and slopes varying from 5 degrees to 15 degrees. What's more, as it is situated within the Shennonjia Scenic Area, the resort features some spectacular scenery. The Shennonjia Scenic Area is famous for its varied plant species as well as its solemn mountains. Regarded as the "Lungs of Central China," forest coverage exceeds 90 percent of the area. When winter comes along, all trees get covered in icicles, turning the resort into a true winter wonderland.
