Chen Hongtao said, in the placement base there is no cold look in people’s eyes nor condescending arrogance; the work environment is clean and comfortable; the daily regular life helps us get rid of the dangers of drugs; the factory is more like a big family and lets us regain self-confidence and self-esteem. The “Sunshine Division” of the Wine Company in Honghuagang District is one of the 10 “Sunshine Project” enterprises in Zunyi City. Since its opening in June this year, a total of 87 community-based drug rehab patients got rid of the vicious circle of “forced detox – relapse – forced detox again – relapse again” in this factory and regained confidence, returned to the society, and started a new voyage of life. On August 21, 2012, Cui Yadong, member of the Standing Committee of Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, secretary of the Politics and Law Committee, director of the Provincial Narcotics Control Commission, and director of the Public Security Department investigated the “Sunshine Division” of the wine company, and fully affirmed the construction of the “Sunshine Project” in Zunyi City. He required the city to further summarize the experiences, seriously strengthen the assistance and support efforts, deepen the effects, promote the development and growth of the Sunshine enterprises, and do a good job in demonstrating the construction of the “Sunshine Project” for the whole province, to let more drug rehab patients find job and promote social harmony.

As of the end of August 2012, Zunyi City built a total of 10 centralized job placement enterprises (bases), and provided job placement for 1,379 people including 636 people subject to concentrated placement, 306 people subject to scattered placement, 22 people subject to public welfare jobs, 38 people subject to self-employment, and 377 people subject to independent job-hunting.
