Aerial footage shows aftermath of mudslide hitting Gyirong Port in Xizang

Aerial footage captures the dramatic aftermath of a mudslide that occurred on the Nepalese side of the China-Nepal border and struck Gyirong Port in Gyirong County, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, on Wednesday morning.

A barrier lake has formed near Gyirong Port, with the mudslide's edge about 2.5 km from the port and nearly 1.5 meters thick, posing significant challenges to ongoing rescue efforts, according to China Anneng Construction Group Co., Ltd.
